Portfolio - Omega | Omega is an educational application for Gymnasium students learning the ancient Greek language. The students have to determine the properties of a random Greek verb, learning to recognize the different types a Greek verb can have. |
StatusBeing sold since +/- 2001HistoryI started this project in 2000 together with my father, who is a teacher in Classical Langauges. Before Omega, I had developed a small application for my fathers students which they could use to learn the meanings of Latin and Greek words. My father wanted a more advanced and challenging application for his students, which at first became Omega Verbum. Later on a new module, Omega Participium, was built, after which the name changed to simply Omega. My father and I decided that more students in The Netherlands should be able to use the program, so I founded Frontisterion Software and sold the program nationwide.Technical detailsOmega was developed in Delphi 5.
